Arum Bulbs - Uses
- Exotic Arum plants are suited to sun or shade
- Often grown in woodland settings
- Grow to attract birds including blackbirds
- Grown for their interesting foliage
- Will spread to form patches of ground cover
- Grow with Ferns, Woodsorrel, Snowdrops, Bluebells & Epimedium
Arum Bulbs - How to Sow
- Best to start your bulbs indoors, in a greenhouse or polytunnel
- Grow in large pots (5L or bigger)
- Once shoots are 10cm in height you can move out into the garden
- Choose location
- Arum are happy in shade or under trees
- Sow approx. 3 times their size deep
- Can be sown on their side or with pointed end pointing upwards
- Cover with soil & water in well
- Feed when foliage appears
Arum Bulbs - Tips
- Plants will take a few years to develop
- But will eventually fill out & will multiply & spread
- Divide bulb clumps every 4 to 5 years
- Note:
- Very Important: Roots need to be kept moist at all times
- Plant as soon as your parcel arrives, or keep moist by storing in damp newspaper
- Soak again before planting & water in well after planting

- Bulk bags & large orders are shipped via pallet couriers on a rigid lorry
- Delivery is to kerbside only
- If road access to your site is tight, then please advise us before purchasing
- Please Note: We cannot guarantee next day delivery on pallet deliveries
- Also, we cannot guarantee delivery on a specific day (Please allow 1-3 days for delivery)
- It's always best to order well in advance to avoid disappointment
- Cancellation of pallets when items are already in transit will incur a 40 euro per pallet cancellation fee (To cover return delivery costs)
