Garlic Bulbs - Sowing Instructions
- Sowing Time: September to March
- Best sown before the frost
- Divide bulb into cloves & plant
- Spacing: 15cm apart
- Sowing depth = 3 times the height of the bulb
- Soil: Prefers well drained soil
- Not suited to heavy or wet soils
- You can use raised beds or place vermiculite or sand at base of planting hole
- Harvest once leaves have faded and turned brown
- Stores well
