Universal Potting Mix - How to use
- Check plant roots
- If pot bound then you should re pot the orchid
- Orchids should be re-potted every 12-18 months
When re-potting
- Soak roots in water
- Loosen roots & remove old bark
- Trim back dead & old roots, use a clean secateurs
- Use a larger pot, placing a layer of bark on base of pot
- Lower roots into the pot, filling the spaces with bark as you go
- Once full, firm in orchid well
